Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Viejo Tom's Eustacio Crispo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Damaso Cordera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benito Aballe in the 7th minute of the match. A collision led to Maldonado FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Remigio Koldo hit a great ball. If Eustacio Crispo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pablo Ostargi kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Viejo Tom's Blas Vela got a free kick in the 14th minute. Maldonado FC's Nestor Guifre got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eustacio Crispo in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Damaso Cordera saved Maldonado FC from getting behind. Eustacio Crispo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damaso Cordera having to interfere. Damaso Cordera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benito Aballe, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. 48 minutes into the match, Maldonado FC's goal looked a bit too open when Benito Aballe came free, but Damaso Cordera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Nestor Guifre made the kick off in the second half. Benito Aballe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Damaso Cordera made a huge save. Benito Aballe took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Damaso Cordera. Damaso Cordera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 57 minutes into the match, Viejo Tom's goal looked a bit too open when Erubiel Maiorga came free, but Santos Bingen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benito Aballe hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Eustacio Crispo in the 63rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Damaso Cordera, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Benito Aballe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eustacio Crispo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Damaso Cordera made a huge save. Damaso Cordera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benito Aballe went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Eustacio Crispo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nestor Guifre charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nestor Guifre the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nestor Guifre hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Santos Bingen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nestor Guifre in the 79th minute of the match. Damaso Cordera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eustacio Crispo in the 82nd minute. 83 minutes into the match, Maldonado FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eustacio Crispo came free, but Damaso Cordera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th minute, Pablo Ostargi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 88th minute, Blas Vela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 90th minute of the game Bartolo Belmiro made a throw-in which Santo Lluis played forward. After a defensive mix-up in Maldonado FC's zone, Freddy Egoi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Damaso Cordera came out of the goal and Freddy Egoi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eustacio Crispo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 94thth minute tested the skills of Damaso Cordera when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Cristobal Natal kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match.
