Eustacio Crispo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Armando Gitano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 17 played minutes Bover Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Silverio Bihar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustacio Crispo in the 19th minute of play forced Bover Juniors's goalkeeper Armando Gitano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Bover Juniors's Santos Bingen threw himself towards the right post 21 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Leo Gaueko, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 23 played minutes Viejo Tom got a freekick which was hit by Mariano Geleberto. After 24 played minutes, Bover Juniors's Ulises Gilen shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Santos Bingen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bover Juniors reached it. Santos Bingen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leo Gaueko, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 28th minute, Eustacio Crispo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Viejo Tom fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 31 minutes into the game, Efrain Calixto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bover Juniors's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Viejo Tom the free kick. After 39 played minutes Leo Gaueko rounded Viejo Tom's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. Eustacio Crispo scored 1-3 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Armando Gitano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 45th match minute, Viejo Tom was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Blas Vela to maneuver through the defense. The Bover Juniors players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Viejo Tom were winning 1-3.

The supporters of Viejo Tom booed when Bover Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roberto Osmundo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leo Gaueko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santos Bingen having to interfere. Eustacio Crispo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Santos Bingen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leo Gaueko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 73 minutes into the game, Mauro Montay was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bover Juniors's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Viejo Tom the free kick. The goalkeeper, Armando Gitano, was totally fooled by Viejo Tom's Mariano Geleberto, who 74 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Eustacio Crispo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Eustacio Crispo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Armando Gitano was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. A collision led to Viejo Tom getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Mark Dick hit a great ball. Severino Osorio hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. If Eustacio Crispo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 90th play minutes Eustacio Crispo shot 1-5, a short shot which went by Armando Gitano and just under the crossbar into goal. Santos Bingen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Gaueko in the 94th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Viejo Tom's Freddy Egoi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Armando Gitano. That made the score 1-6 after 96 minutes of play. Viejo Tom's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
