Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ciro Chaime kicked off to start the match. Cayetano Gelmiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casimiro Maura in the 5th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Juan Gauargi during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Juan Gauargi kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, Sol y Sierra FC's goal looked a bit too open when Danilo Eusko came free, but Cayetano Gelmiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silvano Frutos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Celestino Txema having to make a save. If Danilo Eusko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cayetano Gelmiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Casimiro Maura in the 18th minute of the match. Ciro Chaime fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celestino Txema having to interfere. After a rather tough play, FC Goretti's Guaberto Koldobika got a free kick in the 20th minute. Sol y Sierra FC's Silvano Frutos got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danilo Eusko in the 24th minute of play forced Sol y Sierra FC's goalkeeper Cayetano Gelmiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Celestino Txema took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciro Chaime, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes into the game, FC Goretti's Cipriano Jaume nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cayetano Gelmiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 31 minutes into the game, one of FC Goretti:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Celestino Txema, was totally fooled by Sol y Sierra FC's Juan Gauargi, who 33 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The FC Goretti fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when FC Goretti's Danilo Eusko looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 38 minutes into the game, FC Goretti's Casimiro Maura nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cayetano Gelmiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. When Donato Orti fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Goretti's protests and gave Donato Orti a yellow card for diving instead. In the 44th minute, one of FC Goretti:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Goretti. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Danilo Eusko was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Sol y Sierra FC's goal looked a bit too open when Danilo Eusko came free, but Cayetano Gelmiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Danilo Eusko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cayetano Gelmiro having to interfere. Casimiro Maura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rdth minute of the game Ciro Chaime who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Goretti's Celestino Txema was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvano Frutos in the 67th minute of play forced FC Goretti's goalkeeper Celestino Txema to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cayetano Gelmiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danilo Eusko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sol y Sierra FC's Silvano Frutos got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Casimiro Maura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juan Gauargi hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. When Silvano Frutos came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Sol y Sierra FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silvano Frutos couldn't finish the play. Casimiro Maura struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Cayetano Gelmiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Goretti. Cayetano Gelmiro came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Goretti's Cipriano Jaume. But to his dismay, Cipriano Jaume quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-5. FC Goretti's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
