Mandaloria's Astor Eyague got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marcelo Iraitz kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. When Astor Eyague came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Mandaloria fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Astor Eyague couldn't finish the play. When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Astor Eyague sped through Patagonia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Viktor Kalkanov. The supporters of Patagonia booed when Mandaloria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Mikolas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Astor Eyague sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th minute Braulio Bide shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcial Araoz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the game, Marcelo Iraitz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Patagonia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mandaloria the free kick. Marcelo Iraitz kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Marcial Araoz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saturnino Guipuzkoa in the 25th minute of the match. A collision led to Mandaloria getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Yoel Ariztimuño hit a great ball. After having played for 32 minutes, Astor Eyague managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mandaloria's supporters crossed their fingers, but Astor Eyague was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Saturnino Guipuzkoa to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Yoel Ariztimuño managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mandaloria's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yoel Ariztimuño was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcial Araoz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Braulio Bide in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 54th minute Patagonia were awarded a corner. Marco Gaueko went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Patagonia's Marco Gaueko to fire away a dangerous shot which Marcial Araoz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a rather tough play, Patagonia's Feliciano Astudillo got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 58th minute, Alfredo Mikolas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Patagonia defense, Astor Eyague kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Viktor Kalkanov. The Patagonia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Viktor Kalkanov should have stopped the shot. Yoel Ariztimuño fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viktor Kalkanov having to interfere. The supporters of Patagonia booed when Mandaloria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Mikolas didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Saturnino Guipuzkoa during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 67th minute, Saturnino Guipuzkoa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcial Araoz made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Saturnino Guipuzkoa sent off a good shot on target. After 70 minutes, Yoel Ariztimuño mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mandaloria and the Patagonia players grew even worse after the yellow card. Yoel Ariztimuño kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Marcial Araoz didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 71st minute, which inside left pole to 2-2. Patagonia's Viktor Kalkanov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Astor Eyague in the 75th minute of play. In the 76th minute of the match Mandaloria got a corner. Patagonia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Yoel Ariztimuño ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 80th minute Astor Eyague shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viktor Kalkanov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mandaloria's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Yoel Ariztimuño in the 81st minute. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Benedicto Gonzales got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 3-2. 81 minutes into the match. Everardo Columbo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 91 minutes into the match, Mandaloria's goalkeeper Marcial Araoz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Saturnino Guipuzkoa. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Mandaloria fully deserved thier win.
