After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Luciano Lorencio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Mollejas's supporters rose to their feet, but Luciano Lorencio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eusebio Goizeder breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 42nd minute, Real Mollejas's Emilio Eudoxio seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Emilio Eudoxio the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Real Mollejas protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Emilio Eudoxio had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 43 played minutes Real Mollejas got a freekick which was hit by Emilio Eudoxio.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pedro Truylos was the one to do the kick off. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Anibal Pacifico took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Rodolfo Ekaitz to make any attempt to save it. Rafael Cordareo hit a great ball. 67 minutes into the match, Real Mollejas's goalkeeper Rodolfo Ekaitz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zacarias Inge. If Donato Ovando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute, Gaston Argi made a precise shot to the right of Eusebio Goizeder. Torino Calcio's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Pedro Truylos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 95 minutes, Pedro Truylos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Mollejas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Truylos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pedro Truylos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eusebio Goizeder read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play.
