The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonathan Chayo got free with Celedonio Bernebe in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cleto Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Celedonio Bernebe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Skid Row FC's Cleto Santos slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Celedonio Bernebe. That made the score 2-0 after 20 minutes of play. With a little luck, Pedregal's Celedonio Bernebe got control of the ball when Jonathan Chayo tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Jonathan Chayo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 33 minutes into the match, Pedregal's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Gaspard came free, but Celedonio Bernebe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th match minute, Skid Row FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dante Gaskon to maneuver through the defense. Pedregal's Celedonio Bernebe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Pedregal from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pablo Sayvion in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Celedonio Bernebe saved Pedregal from getting behind. In the 42nd minute, Cleto Santos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 46 minutes into the match, Pedregal's goal looked a bit too open when Cleto Santos came free, but Celedonio Bernebe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Pedregal fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 48th minute. Penalty! No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Celedonio Bernebe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Chayo, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Pedregal's Celedonio Bernebe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Chayo in the 58th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Skid Row FC's goalkeeper Ildefonso Fero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Godfredo Endira. Godofredo Tono's late challenge caught a Pedregal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Godofredo Tono helped the player get up and apologised. Godofredo Tono hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. 70 minutes into the match, Pedregal's goal looked a bit too open when Pablo Sayvion came free, but Celedonio Bernebe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 73 minutes into the game, Paulino Lertxun was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pedregal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Skid Row FC the free kick. The supporters of Skid Row FC booed when Pedregal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulino Lertxun didn't get a good kick on the ball.
