The referee ignored Fond de Cave's protests and gave Marcos Ciano a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Fond de Cave getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Marcos Ciano hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Calderilla's Norberto Distiratsu got a free kick in the 32nd minute. With his leg Jano Prestes managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when Fond de Cave's Moises Viviano fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 35 minutes into the match, Calderilla's goalkeeper Jano Prestes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Moises Viviano. In the 36th match minute, Calderilla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iker Eron to maneuver through the defense. After 40 played minutes Fond de Cave got a freekick which was hit by Jesus Stanislao. Cristo Ferrando charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Jano Prestes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moises Viviano in the 77th minute of the match. The supporters of Calderilla booed when Fond de Cave was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lázaro Lesardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Many of Calderilla's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Calderilla may have spent more time on the ball, but Fond de Cave were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
