Antonio Marino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baltasar Goi, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. If Benito Ceandro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 19 minutes into the match, Eagleheart FC's goalkeeper Dante Mergildo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jaime Valentine. La Mervaleta's Jaime Valentine got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jaime Valentine recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Antonio Marino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dionisio Furman in the 29th minute of the match. A collision led to La Mervaleta getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Adrian Lucila hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ermegildo Soter in the 49th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Antonio Marino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Victorio Macario to make the kick off. La Mervaleta's Antonio Marino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save La Mervaleta from getting a goal against them. Dante Mergildo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Valentine in the 57th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Eagleheart FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Lucila came free, but Dante Mergildo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The La Mervaleta fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when La Mervaleta's Jaime Valentine looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When La Mervaleta's Benito Ceandro in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Eagleheart FC's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luciano Sauveur during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Baltasar Goi hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. La Mervaleta fully deserved thier win.
