The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the match, Eagleheart FC's goal looked a bit too open when Feliciano Emenon came free, but Dante Mergildo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Mergildo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cleto Caradaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Ermegildo Soter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Torino Calcio's zone, Ermegildo Soter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eusebio Goizeder came out of the goal and Ermegildo Soter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Eagleheart FC's Ambrosio Duarte got a free kick in the 32nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Ermegildo Soter managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eagleheart FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ermegildo Soter was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eusebio Goizeder breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eagleheart FC's Dante Mergildo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cleto Caradaro in the 39th minute of play. 1-0 became the score in the 42nd minute when Ermegildo Soter elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Victorio Macario stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ermegildo Soter in the 80th minute of play forced Torino Calcio's goalkeeper Eusebio Goizeder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
