Spectators: 7351 (Terracing: 5514, Seating: 1690, VIP seats: 147) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Angel Ponciano kicked off to start the match. Angel Ponciano struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Florencio Carlomagno didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Weisburd. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angel Ponciano in the 5th minute of play forced Soutomayor's goalkeeper Florencio Carlomagno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Florencio Carlomagno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angel Ponciano in the 7th minute of the match. Angel Ponciano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Soutomayor's zone, Angel Ponciano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Florencio Carlomagno came out of the goal and Angel Ponciano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 15 played minutes Soutomayor got a freekick which was hit by Justo Karmel. After 18 minutes of play, Weisburd's Jeremias Eleder made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Florencio Carlomagno was left in no man's land by his defense there! Angel Ponciano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Florencio Carlomagno having to make a save. A collision led to Soutomayor getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Baltasar Fe hit a great ball. 31 minutes into the match, Soutomayor's goal looked a bit too open when Severiano Pancho came free, but Florencio Carlomagno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Baltasar Fe's late challenge caught a Weisburd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Baltasar Fe helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Weisburd booed when Soutomayor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baltasar Fe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jeremias Eleder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Florencio Carlomagno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, Weisburd's Angel Ponciano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Florencio Carlomagno narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Justo Karmel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Rodrigo Lapurdi made a huge save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Justo Karmel was the one to do the kick off. Soutomayor's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Faustino Idacio in the 53rd minute. The corner led Soutomayor's Faustino Idacio to fire away a dangerous shot which Rodrigo Lapurdi despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Soutomayor's Julian Hernandez got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Julian Hernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Julian Hernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd minute, Justo Karmel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rodrigo Lapurdi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Justo Karmel in the 65th minute of play. Florencio Carlomagno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angel Ponciano in the 68th minute of the match. After 69 played minutes Soutomayor got a freekick which was hit by Justo Karmel. Florencio Carlomagno made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Severiano Pancho sent off a good shot on target. Baltasar Fe got his second yellow card in the match during the 72nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Soutomayor's Baltasar Fe got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Weisburd's Jeremias Eleder got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 80 minutes into the game, Angel Ponciano recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Florencio Carlomagno. Angel Ponciano showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jeremias Eleder got free with Florencio Carlomagno in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Angel Ponciano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Angel Ponciano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Florencio Carlomagno having to make a save. Florencio Carlomagno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angel Ponciano, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Julian Hernandez hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Hernandez in the 96th minute of play forced Weisburd's goalkeeper Rodrigo Lapurdi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Weisburd had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
