In the 4th minute, Anastasio Aimar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tiburcio Monte was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Victorio Tavio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 13 minutes into the match, Sohcahtoa08's Victorio Tavio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nemesio Normando narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 15th minute Nicanor Grabiel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiburcio Monte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 19th play minutes Victorio Tavio shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Nemesio Normando and just under the crossbar into goal. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Victorio Tavio took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Nemesio Normando to make any attempt to save it. Sohcahtoa08 were furious when Augusto Matxin was red carded, 26 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 25 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Sohcahtoa08! In the 28th minute there was a penalty for Sánchez. Miguel Llin stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Tiburcio Monte. 2-2. Emilio Godoy came free with the goalkeeper in the 31st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Nemesio Normando could save by the left post. In the 38th minute, Nicanor Grabiel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sánchez fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. When Candido Frutos came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Sohcahtoa08 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Candido Frutos couldn't finish the play. Damian Felipo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nemesio Normando having to interfere. In the 47th match minute, Sánchez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicanor Grabiel to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anastasio Aimar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Anastasio Aimar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mateo Gar hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 59th minute Emilio Godoy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nemesio Normando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Sánchez getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Miguel Llin hit a great ball. Candido Frutos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Damian Felipo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sixto Cutberto got free with Tiburcio Monte in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Candido Frutos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nemesio Normando having to interfere. Sixto Cutberto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Candido Frutos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sohcahtoa08's supporters rose to their feet, but Candido Frutos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nemesio Normando breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tiburcio Monte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anastasio Aimar, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 95th minute Emilio Godoy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nemesio Normando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sánchez were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Sohcahtoa08's much stronger midfield.
