Loma Negra's Anier Santiago got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anier Santiago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felipe Cordeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anier Santiago in the 17th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Anier Santiago's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Felipe Cordeiro was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Felipe Cordeiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anier Santiago's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. A collision led to Loma Negra getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Silvio Medina hit a great ball. Gaston Irrintzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Segundo Olivar in the 25th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Loma Negra's Anier Santiago ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Felipe Cordeiro. Felipe Cordeiro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Gaston Irrintzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fidel Hechter in the 32nd minute of play. But to his dismay, Fidel Hechter quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Felipe Cordeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anier Santiago in the 47th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

San Lorenzo de Calzada's Felipe Cordeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anier Santiago in the 53rd minute of play. Anier Santiago's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Felipe Cordeiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Hipolito Pelagius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fidel Hechter in the 62nd minute of play forced Loma Negra's goalkeeper Gaston Irrintzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th match minute, San Lorenzo de Calzada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artemio Urtun to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anier Santiago in the 67th minute of play forced San Lorenzo de Calzada's goalkeeper Felipe Cordeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Loma Negra's Gaston Irrintzi got control of the ball when Segundo Olivar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gaston Irrintzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Venancio Inautzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 85 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo de Calzada's goal looked a bit too open when Hipolito Pelagius came free, but Felipe Cordeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Anier Santiago notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of San Lorenzo de Calzada's Felipe Cordeiro. Felipe Cordeiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Hipolito Pelagius managed to get in a good position for a shot. Loma Negra's supporters rose to their feet, but Hipolito Pelagius was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Felipe Cordeiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pascual Gonsalve hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Loma Negra were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of San Lorenzo de Calzada for a fine match.
