Spectators: 7298 (Terracing: 5475, Seating: 1678, VIP seats: 145) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Conrado Kunstmann took the kick off in the first half of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Florencio Gorosti managed to get in a good position for a shot. Defensores de Flores's supporters rose to their feet, but Florencio Gorosti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claes Ek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 7 minutes into the match, Pehuajó's goal looked a bit too open when Albino Hanot came free, but Claes Ek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jaime Bero made in the 19th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Defensores de Flores's Emilio Cugat. 21 minutes into the game, Defensores de Flores's Florencio Gorosti nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Claes Ek made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Defensores de Flores's Albino Hanot got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ciro Paredes hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After 30 played minutes Defensores de Flores got a freekick which was hit by Gervasio Pagomari. Conrado Kunstmann could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Witalis Hodas made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Albino Hanot in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claes Ek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 36th minute Florencio Gorosti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claes Ek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Conrado Kunstmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Conrado Kunstmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pehuajó's Claes Ek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albino Hanot in the 42nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Albino Hanot in the 49th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Claes Ek saved Pehuajó from getting behind. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Claes Ek stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Albino Hanot's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. After 55 minutes, Benjamin Dreibek mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pehuajó and the Defensores de Flores players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Pehuajó getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Benjamin Dreibek hit a great ball. The supporters of Defensores de Flores booed when Pehuajó was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conrado Kunstmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. Remigio James fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Witalis Hodas having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Conrado Kunstmann made a precise shot to the right of Witalis Hodas. Defensores de Flores's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Albino Hanot recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Claes Ek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florencio Gorosti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 81stth minute of the game Albino Hanot who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pehuajó's Claes Ek was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Froilan Urtats hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Claes Ek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florencio Gorosti, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. 88 minutes into the match, Pehuajó's goalkeeper Claes Ek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Albino Hanot. 95 minutes into the match, Pehuajó's goal looked a bit too open when Florencio Gorosti came free, but Claes Ek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gervasio Pagomari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claes Ek having to interfere.
