After 11 played minutes San Lorenzo de Calzada got a freekick which was hit by Venancio Inautzi. Felipe Cordeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Llorenc in the 12th minute of play. Felipe Cordeiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mauricio Duardo in the 14th minute. In the 17th minute Segundo Olivar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inocencio Paz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute, Fausto Milio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 18thth minute of the game Fidel Hechter who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tolkien Fútbol Club's Inocencio Paz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tolkien Fútbol Club's Inocencio Paz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Segundo Olivar in the 19th minute of play. Inocencio Paz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Segundo Olivar, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Felipe Cordeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigo Llorenc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fidel Hechter in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Inocencio Paz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. San Lorenzo de Calzada's Felipe Cordeiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save San Lorenzo de Calzada from getting a goal against them. In the 30th minute of the match, Mauricio Duardo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Felipe Cordeiro was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fidel Hechter in the 32nd minute of play forced Tolkien Fútbol Club's goalkeeper Inocencio Paz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Inocencio Paz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fidel Hechter's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. San Lorenzo de Calzada were awarded a corner in the 37th minute after Tolkien Fútbol Club's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Generoso Estebe took the corner. A collision led to Tolkien Fútbol Club getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Fausto Milio hit a great ball. Ivan Sol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Inocencio Paz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fidel Hechter's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mauricio Duardo made a kick off. Inocencio Paz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Sol in the 52nd minute of play. 54 minutes into the game, Primitivo Demario cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Felipe Cordeiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Sol in the 57th minute of play forced Tolkien Fútbol Club's goalkeeper Inocencio Paz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felipe Cordeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Primitivo Demario, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Tolkien Fútbol Club's Primitivo Demario got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fidel Hechter's late challenge caught a Tolkien Fútbol Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fidel Hechter helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, San Lorenzo de Calzada's Fidel Hechter got a free kick in the 71st minute. Felipe Cordeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo Llorenc, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauricio Duardo in the 75th minute of play forced San Lorenzo de Calzada's goalkeeper Felipe Cordeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th minute of the match, Ivan Sol tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Inocencio Paz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 80th minute Rodrigo Llorenc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felipe Cordeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 81 played minutes Tolkien Fútbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Godfredo Hurko. If Segundo Olivar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodrigo Llorenc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felipe Cordeiro having to interfere. Rodrigo Llorenc scored 3-0 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Felipe Cordeiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the San Lorenzo de Calzada players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Tolkien Fútbol Club.
