It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 17th minute, but Claes Ek got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Pehuajó hanging dry this time. Sr.Quincocho were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after Pehuajó's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Feliciano Santos took the corner. The corner ended in Feliciano Santos almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Pehuajó's Claes Ek did a great save. Claes Ek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artemio Koldo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 25 played minutes Pehuajó got a freekick which was hit by Conrado Kunstmann. Claes Ek made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Gabriel Orlondon sent off a good shot on target. Pehuajó's Conrado Kunstmann got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gabriel Orlondon got free with Claes Ek in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 37 minutes, Conrado Kunstmann mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pehuajó and the Sr.Quincocho players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 37th minute, Conrado Kunstmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gabriel Orlondon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gabriel Orlondon came free with the goalkeeper in the 42nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Claes Ek could save by the left post. In the 44th minute of the match Sr.Quincocho got a corner. Pehuajó's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Feliciano Santos ran over to the corner to take the kick. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Gabriel Orlondon made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 54 minutes, Gabriel Orlondon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sr.Quincocho's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabriel Orlondon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gabriel Orlondon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Claes Ek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Sr.Quincocho booed when Pehuajó was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remigio James didn't get a good kick on the ball. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ladislao Eutropio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Gabriel Orlondon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Claes Ek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sr.Quincocho. 96 minutes into the match, Pehuajó's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Orlondon came free, but Claes Ek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pehuajó succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Sr.Quincocho had controlled the match.
