Spectators: 7327 (Terracing: 5497, Seating: 1685, VIP seats: 145) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Leonel Oier made the kick off which started today's match. 5 minutes into the game, Leandro Maiorga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. RC Celta de Vigo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LAGUNEROS the free kick. In the 5th minute, Leandro Maiorga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Flavio Galeno was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 6th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 8th minute Aquiles Astudillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melchor Lizer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 9 minutes, Aquiles Astudillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LAGUNEROS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aquiles Astudillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the RC Celta de Vigo defense, Aquilino Aires kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Melchor Lizer. The RC Celta de Vigo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Melchor Lizer should have stopped the shot. Melchor Lizer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aquilino Aires in the 14th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, RC Celta de Vigo's goal looked a bit too open when Aquilino Aires came free, but Melchor Lizer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 22 minutes, Aquilino Aires managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LAGUNEROS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aquilino Aires was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Melchor Lizer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aquilino Aires, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Melchor Lizer came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by LAGUNEROS's Aquilino Aires. But to his dismay, Aquilino Aires quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Jacinto Eneto came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by RC Celta de Vigo's Christian Lidon. But to his dismay, Christian Lidon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Jacinto Eneto made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Christian Lidon sent off a good shot on target. If Leonel Oier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aquiles Astudillo was the one to do the kick off. Aquiles Astudillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Melchor Lizer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, RC Celta de Vigo's Dalmacio Sanchez got a free kick in the 54th minute. It was beautiful to see LAGUNEROS's Flavio Galeno in action when he in the 55th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Melchor Lizer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aquiles Astudillo's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. In the 68th minute, Christian Lidon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 71st minute, RC Celta de Vigo's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Aquilino Aires fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Leandro Maiorga kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as LAGUNEROS's Aquiles Astudillo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Melchor Lizer. That made the score 1-4 after 76 minutes of play. When RC Celta de Vigo's Christian Lidon in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye LAGUNEROS's goalie prevented a goal. Christian Lidon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacinto Eneto having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. LAGUNEROS walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
