The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Maximo Claris recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 10 minutes of play, resident87's Bartolo Breogan made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edgard Reyes was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 12th minute, Rafael Frederik ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edgard Reyes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After some careless play in the Ycuha AFC defense, Rafael Frederik kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edgard Reyes. The Ycuha AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edgard Reyes should have stopped the shot. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Rafael Frederik put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Edgard Reyes. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 0-7 when Rafael Frederik sped through Ycuha AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Edgard Reyes. 33 minutes into the match, Rafael Frederik notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of Ycuha AFC's Edgard Reyes. Edgard Reyes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Rafael Frederik put it in 0-9 from a short distance just to the right of Edgard Reyes. The supporters of Ycuha AFC booed when resident87 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elpidio Ruisko didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 45 minutes of play, resident87's Bartolo Breogan made it 0-10 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edgard Reyes was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half resident87 were leading 0-10. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alfredo Batista stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 54 minutes, Edgard Reyes successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Martin Txema fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgard Reyes having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Ycuha AFC's zone, Rafael Frederik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgard Reyes came out of the goal and Rafael Frederik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Paulino Quintin managed to get in a good position for a shot. resident87's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulino Quintin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edgard Reyes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulino Quintin in the 85th minute of play forced Ycuha AFC's goalkeeper Edgard Reyes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maximo Claris's late challenge caught a resident87's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maximo Claris helped the player get up and apologised. In the 86th match minute, Ycuha AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximo Claris to maneuver through the defense. Ycuha AFC's Edgard Reyes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartolo Breogan in the 87th minute of play. Edgard Reyes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Martin Txema in the 88th minute. Paulino Quintin might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edgard Reyes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paulino Quintin ran back to his position shaking his head. resident87 played a much better game than Ycuha AFC and deserved their victory. The Ycuha AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
