After a defensive mix-up in LAGUNEROS's zone, Anier Izotz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacinto Eneto came out of the goal and Anier Izotz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alo Kuuda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aquiles Astudillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 45 minutes into the match, Melero FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aquiles Astudillo came free, but Alo Kuuda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 45 played minutes Melero FC got a freekick which was hit by Celestino Gilen. In the 48th minute Aquilino Aires shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alo Kuuda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Aquiles Astudillo made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Melero FC booed when LAGUNEROS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristobal Lizbeth didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aquilino Aires could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Alo Kuuda made a huge save. Anibal Mitxel didn't quite understand what happened when in the 82 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Angelo Peruanton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacinto Eneto having to interfere. When Angelo Peruanton came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Melero FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angelo Peruanton couldn't finish the play. In the 91st minute, Luisito Obeko reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alo Kuuda. The goal made the score 0-2. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched LAGUNEROS eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
