In the 14thth minute of the game Rafael Frederik who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LAGUNEROS's Jacinto Eneto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Paulino Quintin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the resident87 defense, Fabian Tiso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Christian Freire. The resident87 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christian Freire should have stopped the shot. LAGUNEROS's Jacinto Eneto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulino Quintin in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elpidio Ruisko in the 20th minute of play forced LAGUNEROS's goalkeeper Jacinto Eneto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Martin Txema got free with Jacinto Eneto in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lino Nuno charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lino Nuno the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 31st minute, Lino Nuno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 32nd minute Elpidio Ruisko managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartolo Breogan in the 36th minute of play forced LAGUNEROS's goalkeeper Jacinto Eneto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christian Freire showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aquilino Aires, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 40th match minute, LAGUNEROS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Venancio Fernanco to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in resident87's zone, Aquilino Aires stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christian Freire came out of the goal and Aquilino Aires tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aquiles Astudillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Freire having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aquiles Astudillo to make the kick off. Aquilino Aires scored 2-2 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Christian Freire, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. resident87's Christian Freire proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save resident87 from getting a goal against them. After 62 played minutes resident87 got a freekick which was hit by Viktor de Pelsmacker. Martin Txema fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacinto Eneto having to interfere. 68 minutes into the game, Rafael Frederik cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Jacinto Eneto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lino Nuno hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 77th minute, Rafael Frederik made a precise shot to the right of Jacinto Eneto. LAGUNEROS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-3. Aquilino Aires could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Christian Freire made a huge save. After 84 played minutes, resident87's Pipis Arnidis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jacinto Eneto came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in resident87 reached it. Aquilino Aires could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Christian Freire made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aquiles Astudillo in the 95th minute of play forced resident87's goalkeeper Christian Freire to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The resident87 fans cheered their team off the field, for while LAGUNEROS had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
