The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Lázaro Pio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 4th match minute, Super Felpa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amancio Bittor to maneuver through the defense. In the 8th minute, Leonardo Matxin fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Doyle Forrest, passed just outside the right post. After some careless play in the Equipo Abandonado defense, Amancio Bittor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Doyle Forrest. The Equipo Abandonado fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Doyle Forrest should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Equipo Abandonado's Edgard Quinto got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 25th minute Bonifacio Asteri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norberto Lia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Norberto Lia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgard Quinto in the 26th minute of play. Doyle Forrest showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lázaro Pio in the 28th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lázaro Pio in the 29th minute of play forced Equipo Abandonado's goalkeeper Doyle Forrest to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Lázaro Pio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Doyle Forrest was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. After having played for 42 minutes, Lázaro Pio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Super Felpa FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lázaro Pio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Doyle Forrest made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Amancio Bittor sent off a good shot on target. 47 minutes into the match, Lázaro Pio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Doyle Forrest. Equipo Abandonado's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lázaro Pio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Equipo Abandonado's Doyle Forrest played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Matxin in the 53rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pascual Lluques during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Equipo Abandonado getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Pascual Lluques hit a great ball. In the 57th minute Lázaro Pio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doyle Forrest saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 58 minutes into the game, Edgard Quinto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Equipo Abandonado's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Super Felpa FC the free kick. Edgard Quinto kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. In the 59th minute, Lázaro Pio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Doyle Forrest was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amancio Bittor in the 63rd minute of play forced Equipo Abandonado's goalkeeper Doyle Forrest to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Doyle Forrest stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leonardo Matxin's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Bonifacio Asteri managed to get in a good position for a shot. Equipo Abandonado's supporters rose to their feet, but Bonifacio Asteri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Norberto Lia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Doyle Forrest made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amancio Bittor in the 74th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgard Quinto in the 75th minute of play forced Super Felpa FC's goalkeeper Norberto Lia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Amancio Bittor fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Super Felpa FC's protests and gave Amancio Bittor a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Super Felpa FC's Amancio Bittor got a free kick in the 76th minute. Lázaro Pio scored 6-0 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Doyle Forrest, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 82nd minute, Equipo Abandonado's Bonifacio Asteri ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Norberto Lia. Norberto Lia yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 6-1. In the 85th minute, Astor Cresenciano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Victor Magdaleno was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 86th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Doyle Forrest took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amancio Bittor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lázaro Pio scored 7-1 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Doyle Forrest, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Doyle Forrest didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lázaro Pio went, in the 98th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-1 was the resulting score. Super Felpa FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
