Jáchal's Sixto Telo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Dionisio Valerio in the 21 minute of the game. The throw-in from Domingo Colas in the 26th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Jáchal's Tiburcio Larra. Amador Refugio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nicanor Blai's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. If Fabio Afonso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roberto Lain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 40 minutes, Alberto Lobo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jáchal and the Sugaritas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card.
