C.A.Alvarado's Jonas Caitano got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Maximiliano Mancio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nestor Rojelio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leon Isadore took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jairo Frisco. Jairo Frisco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 20 minutes into the game, Isidoro Hitzeder was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Santamarina's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.A.Alvarado the free kick. If Wilfredo Ihintza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 22nd minute Efrain Esdras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Flores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Santamarina's Juan Flores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximiliano Mancio in the 27th minute of play. Isidoro Hitzeder made a great header on Santamarina's corner, it was just that C.A.Alvarado's Jairo Frisco managed to reach the ball for a save. Maximiliano Mancio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Juan Flores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Angel Romelio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Santamarina's Marco Garcia got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 41st match minute, C.A.Alvarado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Boniel to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, C.A.Alvarado's Jairo Frisco got control of the ball when Nereo Montay tried to sneak it across the goal line. C.A.Alvarado's Jairo Frisco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angel Romelio in the 47th minute of play.

The wind increased when Efrain Esdras made the kick off in the second half. With 51 minutes on the clock, Cesar Lixandro commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 51st minute, one of Santamarina:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Santamarina. Santamarina:s Juan Flores showed great skill when he stopped Efrain Esdras:s penalty. 1-1 came in the 54th minute when Efrain Esdras all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Juan Flores. Maximiliano Mancio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonas Caitano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Flores having to interfere. A collision led to Santamarina getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Angel Romelio hit a great ball. In the 61st minute of the match Efrain Esdras sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Juan Flores skillfully saved the ball. If Leon Isadore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 65 minutes into the match, Nereo Montay notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of C.A.Alvarado's Jairo Frisco. Jairo Frisco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jonas Caitano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Flores having to interfere. After 78 played minutes Santamarina got a freekick which was hit by Nereo Montay. Nereo Montay kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Efrain Esdras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Flores having to interfere. If Nereo Montay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Niceto Caradaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Flores having to interfere. Juan Flores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Efrain Esdras in the 88th minute of play. Juan Flores was out of position in the 89 minute of play, and Maximiliano Mancio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Maximiliano Mancio really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. In the 93rd minute, C.A.Alvarado's Efrain Esdras dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. Nestor Rojelio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match was over C.A.Alvarado could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Santamarina throughout the match.
