Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Erubiel Ruy started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a defensive mix-up in Doping Futbol Club's zone, Leon Isadore stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christian Soin came out of the goal and Leon Isadore tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Erubiel Ruy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Juan Flores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot by Marco Qwinton from long distance, 12 minutes into the match, got Juan Flores's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Santamarina's defense didn't have a chance, in the 13th minute, when Erubiel Ruy scored to the left of an out of position Juan Flores, making the score, 1-0. Isidoro Hitzeder kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Erubiel Ruy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 19 minutes into the match, Doping Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Nereo Montay came free, but Christian Soin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juan Flores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erubiel Ruy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nereo Montay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 23 minutes, Erubiel Ruy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Doping Futbol Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erubiel Ruy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Erubiel Ruy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Flores having to interfere. Higinio Lando hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Erubiel Ruy was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 28th minute. Doping Futbol Club's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Thanks to some nice moves Abelardo Bieito could shoot a difficult shot in the 34th minute, which Juan Flores however easily saved by the left post. Juan Flores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erubiel Ruy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute Erubiel Ruy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Flores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nereo Montay stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Nereo Montay ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Christian Soin was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Doping Futbol Club's Abelardo Bieito got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Juan Flores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abelardo Bieito in the 66th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Nereo Montay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Santamarina's supporters rose to their feet, but Nereo Montay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christian Soin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 68th match minute, Doping Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bartolo Romelio to maneuver through the defense. After 70 played minutes Santamarina got a freekick which was hit by Marco Garcia. Nereo Montay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erubiel Ruy in the 80th minute of play forced Santamarina's goalkeeper Juan Flores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christian Soin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Hitzeder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 84 minutes into the match, Doping Futbol Club's goalkeeper Christian Soin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leon Isadore. 85 minutes into the game, Santamarina's Nereo Montay nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Christian Soin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Doping Futbol Club's Christian Soin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Doping Futbol Club from getting a goal against them. Santamarina's Juan Flores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erubiel Ruy in the 91st minute of play. If Angel Romelio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Santamarina walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
