When Mauro Tallia came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Chapita Fútbol Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mauro Tallia couldn't finish the play. The attack was good, but when Primitivo Bastian in the 22nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Mauro Tallia's late challenge caught a Lacoste FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mauro Tallia helped the player get up and apologised. 26 minutes into the match, Chapita Fútbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Primitivo Bastian came free, but Heliodoro Carrasco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
