The audience thought a goal was coming when Saverio Birjaio got free with Arsenio Cordarrel in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliciano Jago in the 32nd minute of play forced Trainspotting's goalkeeper Arsenio Cordarrel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95thth minute of the game Gonzalo Handi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tiro Federal's Timoteo Urti was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Tiro Federal manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Trainspotting to win.
