The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlos Ospetsu during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 4 played minutes Keto FC got a freekick which was hit by Ermegildo Fernandez. Neil Flynn was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Santos Borre showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. In the 17th minute, Aaron Darien reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Neil Flynn. The goal made the score 3-0. Neil Flynn was a little too slow when Santos Borre got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 4-0. Santos Borre struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Neil Flynn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carnerillo. Carles Puyol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34th minute of the match, Santos Borre tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Neil Flynn saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 39th minute, Carles Puyol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Saverio Bieito made in the 43rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Clemente Formerio immediately put the ball in play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Santos Borre stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes in the game Saverio Bieito did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Esteban Benat. After a rather tough play, Keto FC's Marcial Bazkoare got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Neil Flynn came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Carnerillo's Santos Borre. But to his dismay, Santos Borre quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. After a defensive mix-up in Keto FC's zone, Benito Vigil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Neil Flynn came out of the goal and Benito Vigil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aaron Darien scored 6-0 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Neil Flynn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Neil Flynn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aaron Darien, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Jaime Venceslao struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Neil Flynn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carnerillo. In the 75th minute Victoriano Oihan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rigoberto Ekialde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carles Puyol kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Jaime Venceslao recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Santos Borre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 86thth minute of the game Santos Borre who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Keto FC's Neil Flynn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Clemente Formerio fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Keto FC's protests and gave Clemente Formerio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 90th minute, Clemente Formerio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Neil Flynn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santos Borre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard, long distance shot from Iker Azibar flew over the goal. Carnerillo walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
