Saul Ladio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Ezequiel Maureo made a huge save. In the 29th minute, Santiago Platon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 35 minutes of play, Puestito's Ricard Rutherford made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eriberto Urti was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Puestito's Prudencio Osoitz got a free kick in the 38th minute. When Ricard Rutherford came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Puestito fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricard Rutherford couldn't finish the play. Saul Ladio succeeded in the game's 46th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-3. After the first half Puestito were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Puestito made a substitution. Rolando Bazil replaced Narciso Marin. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcelino Umbruso made a kick off. In the 64th minute Marcelino Umbruso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ezequiel Maureo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Prudencio Osoitz charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Prudencio Osoitz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
