Spectators: 7351 (Terracing: 5514, Seating: 1690, VIP seats: 147) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Santos Borre started the match with the kick off. Ricard Rutherford recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Puestito's defense didn't have a chance, in the 13th minute, when Santos Borre scored to the left of an out of position Ezequiel Maureo, making the score, 1-0. In the 16th minute, Puestito's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jaime Venceslao fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 18 minutes into the match, Puestito's goal looked a bit too open when Santos Borre came free, but Ezequiel Maureo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Puestito booed when Carnerillo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benito Vigil didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Aaron Darien came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Carnerillo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aaron Darien couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Santos Borre managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carnerillo's supporters rose to their feet, but Santos Borre was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ezequiel Maureo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 28 minutes, Aaron Darien made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Puestito's Ezequiel Maureo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Narciso Marin might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rigoberto Ekialde. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Narciso Marin ran back to his position shaking his head. 38 minutes into the match, Puestito's Narciso Marin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rigoberto Ekialde narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Carnerillo's Rigoberto Ekialde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narciso Marin in the 39th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Santos Borre got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 44 minutes into the match, Puestito's goalkeeper Ezequiel Maureo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Santos Borre. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aaron Darien in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ezequiel Maureo prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

Puestito's Rolando Bazil was substituted for Narciso Marin. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ricard Rutherford was the one to do the kick off. In the 57th minute Jaime Venceslao shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ezequiel Maureo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Santos Borre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Ezequiel Maureo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Carnerillo's Santos Borre in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Puestito's goalie prevented a goal. In the 66th minute, Santos Borre fired away a free kick at the goal, but hit it at the wrong angle and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Santos Borre's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ezequiel Maureo was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Rigoberto Ekialde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricard Rutherford, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aaron Darien in the 72nd minute of play forced Puestito's goalkeeper Ezequiel Maureo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Carnerillo booed when Puestito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricard Rutherford didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Santos Borre came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Carnerillo fans jumped to their feet. After 81 minutes, Santos Borre mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carnerillo and the Puestito players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 81st match minute, Carnerillo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santos Borre to maneuver through the defense. Mario Enekoitz kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Phoenix Tare could shoot a difficult shot in the 85th minute, which Rigoberto Ekialde however easily saved by the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Ricard Rutherford kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rigoberto Ekialde. That made the score 2-2 in the 95 minute of play.
