Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Rolando Medero took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Faro AFC's Cristian Urtsin got a free kick in the 5th minute. Sarmiento's Igor Umea got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 9th match minute, Sarmiento was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Tipi to maneuver through the defense. Adrian Sotero didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Sarmiento's Igor Umea shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Rolando Medero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Virgilio Benvido tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Igor Umea in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adrian Sotero saved Faro AFC from getting behind. Sarmiento's Ovidio Bermund got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Igor Umea's late challenge caught a Faro AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Igor Umea helped the player get up and apologised. After 40 played minutes Sarmiento got a freekick which was hit by Igor Umea. Faro AFC's Benjamin Arlo got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sarmiento's Patricio Tipi got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Igor Umea stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Igor Umea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ovidio Bermund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Adrian Sotero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Igor Umea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Adrian Sotero made a huge save. Adrian Sotero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Igor Umea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Igor Umea took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Adrian Sotero to make any attempt to save it. Faro AFC's Adrian Sotero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Tipi in the 77th minute of play. Rolando Medero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Virgilio Benvido read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Rolando Medero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgilio Benvido having to interfere. Patricio Tipi was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 85th minute. Sarmiento's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After some careless play in the Faro AFC defense, Patricio Tipi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adrian Sotero. The Faro AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adrian Sotero should have stopped the shot. Adrian Sotero made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Patricio Tipi sent off a good shot on target. Sarmiento were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
