Feliciano Perfecto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelino Criston having to interfere. Jose Bernaldo hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. 13 minutes into the game, Pedro Celino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Marcelino Criston was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 16 minutes of play, Ombucto FC's Aaron Hernandez made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ruben Abarca was left in no man's land by his defense there! Laguneros S.D's Ruben Abarca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aaron Hernandez in the 20th minute of play. After 22 played minutes Laguneros S.D got a freekick which was hit by Severo Raulo. Marcelino Criston showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feliciano Perfecto in the 25th minute of the match. Pedro Celino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aaron Hernandez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Ruben Abarca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Feliciano Perfecto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelino Criston having to interfere. After 34 played minutes Ombucto FC got a freekick which was hit by Fermin Cortez. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ombucto FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 40th minute. Penalty! Feliciano Perfecto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

53 minutes into the match, Pedro Celino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcelino Criston. Ombucto FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pedro Celino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. In the 59th minute Pedro Celino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelino Criston saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcelino Criston showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliciano Perfecto, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 63rd minute Pedro Celino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelino Criston saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th minute, Severo Raulo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Laguneros S.D fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Fermin Cortez hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Jose Bernaldo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 71st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Marcelino Criston. Ombucto FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Feliciano Perfecto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelino Criston having to interfere. In the 75th minute, Zacarias Ovando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jose Bernaldo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 76th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Pedro Celino struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Marcelino Criston didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Laguneros S.D. In the 78th minute, Feliciano Perfecto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Laguneros S.D fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. Saul Erauso struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Ruben Abarca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ombucto FC. In the 88th minute, Pedro Celino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marcelino Criston made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliciano Perfecto in the 90th minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Saul Erauso fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Laguneros S.D walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
