Jose Bernaldo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 12th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Edgardo Peter. Chupacabras Reborn's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Edgardo Peter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliciano Perfecto, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. If Basilio Elizardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Laguneros S.D booed when Chupacabras Reborn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Donzel didn't get a good kick on the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Basilio Elizardo couldn't finish the play. In the 39th minute, Humberto Chus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edgardo Peter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cayetano Salvidor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carmelo Innocenzio to strike the kick off in the second half. Edgardo Peter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cayetano Salvidor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Laguneros S.D getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Feliciano Perfecto hit a great ball. Carmelo Innocenzio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruben Abarca having to interfere. Edgardo Peter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cayetano Salvidor in the 79th minute of the match. After 82 played minutes Laguneros S.D got a freekick which was hit by Americo Salbatore. After a defensive mix-up in Laguneros S.D's zone, Carmelo Innocenzio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ruben Abarca came out of the goal and Carmelo Innocenzio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carmelo Innocenzio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st minute of the match, Carmelo Innocenzio got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ruben Abarca was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After having played for 93 minutes, Cayetano Salvidor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Laguneros S.D's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cayetano Salvidor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Severo Raulo fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Laguneros S.D's protests and gave Severo Raulo a yellow card for diving instead. After 95 played minutes Laguneros S.D got a freekick which was hit by Severo Raulo. Laguneros S.D's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
