Filomeno Gorosti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcelino Raphael hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. A collision led to Cirqueros de Floresta getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Daniel Ciano hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Juan Guerrero in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Filomeno Gorosti prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Orlando Pirates's zone, Alonzo Fernanco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edison Smoothy came out of the goal and Alonzo Fernanco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edison Smoothy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anier Lixandro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Ciano made in the 32nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Dalmacio Astrada immediately put the ball in play. In the 37th match minute, Orlando Pirates was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Guerrero to maneuver through the defense. Juan Guerrero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Filomeno Gorosti made a huge save. Edison Smoothy didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Uriel Argi went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Juan Guerrero to make the kick off. In the 62nd minute, Juan Guerrero made a precise shot to the right of Filomeno Gorosti. Cirqueros de Floresta's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Ernesto Servando kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. In the 82ndth minute of the game Juan Guerrero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cirqueros de Floresta's Filomeno Gorosti was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Cirqueros de Floresta players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Orlando Pirates.
