Spectators: 7381 (Terracing: 5537, Seating: 1697, VIP seats: 147) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jairo Nastasio kicked off to start the match. In the 3rdth minute of the game Carlos Ayala who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Reartes's Generoso Galtero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 4 minutes into the game, Ruben Tolino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Reartes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo Santa Gilda the free kick. Ruben Tolino kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Reartes's zone, Carlos Ayala stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Generoso Galtero came out of the goal and Carlos Ayala tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Generoso Galtero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mariano Sancho went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 13 minutes of play Reartes's Ruben Tolino was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Deportivo Santa Gilda booed when Reartes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruben Tolino didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st minute, Placido Teofilio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 23 played minutes Deportivo Santa Gilda got a freekick which was hit by Mariano Sancho. Carlos Ayala blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Generoso Galtero having to make a save. In the 32nd minute, Siro Isauro made a precise shot to the right of Generoso Galtero. Reartes's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. A collision led to Reartes getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Diego Vela hit a great ball. Generoso Galtero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlos Ayala's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Generoso Galtero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Ayala in the 38th minute of play. Generoso Galtero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Ayala, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Deportivo Santa Gilda's Carlos Ayala in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Reartes's goalie prevented a goal. After the first half Deportivo Santa Gilda were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 53rd minute, Carlos Ayala left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deportivo Santa Gilda fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After 58 minutes, Placido Teofilio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deportivo Santa Gilda and the Reartes players grew even worse after the yellow card. Carlos Ayala's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Generoso Galtero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Jairo Nastasio in the 73rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Deportivo Santa Gilda's Placido Teofilio. 74 minutes into the match, Reartes's goalkeeper Generoso Galtero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Placido Teofilio. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Ayala in the 75th minute of play forced Reartes's goalkeeper Generoso Galtero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Generoso Galtero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Ayala in the 77th minute of the match. Deportivo Santa Gilda's Carlos Ayala got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Generoso Galtero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Ayala in the 92nd minute of play. The corner led Deportivo Santa Gilda's Pablo Txema to fire away a dangerous shot which Generoso Galtero despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Tomas Gabrio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lino Mazza having to interfere. The Reartes fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Deportivo Santa Gilda were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
