Gwidon Michalski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Yupandú FC's zone, Jose Llorienzo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gwidon Michalski came out of the goal and Jose Llorienzo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Juan Aldea came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Atlético Hacha fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan Aldea couldn't finish the play. Gwidon Michalski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvester Radalj, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Jose Llorienzo could shoot a difficult shot in the 32nd minute, which Gwidon Michalski however easily saved by the left post. 33 minutes had been played when some careless play by Yupandú FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Elano dos Santos was slow to take the kick. During this time Atlético Hacha's players had a chance to rest. Gwidon Michalski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvester Radalj in the 40th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Rio Uchiha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jose Llorienzo to strike the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes Yupandú FC got a freekick which was hit by Delmiro Frutos. Yupandú FC's Gwidon Michalski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elano dos Santos in the 54th minute of play. Atlético Hacha's Elano dos Santos got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Yupandú FC's Nicanor Aragones slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alexander Domínguez. That made the score 2-1 after 62 minutes of play. Gwidon Michalski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jose Llorienzo, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gwidon Michalski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cristian Kepa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gwidon Michalski having to interfere. 95 minutes into the game, Nemesio Cordaryal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Yupandú FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atlético Hacha the free kick. In the 95th minute, Nemesio Cordaryal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
