The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Carlos Van Lint didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tobias Omero went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, CA ARDILOS's Arnulfo Velasco got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 18th minute, Leon Txatxu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Milagro Sobre Césped fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The CA ARDILOS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Teofilo Anaya should have stopped the shot. Leon Txatxu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Milagro Sobre Césped booed when CA ARDILOS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Americo Florinio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tobias Omero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Carlos Van Lint tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute Teofilo Cefero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teofilo Anaya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobias Omero in the 35th minute of play forced Milagro Sobre Césped's goalkeeper Carlos Van Lint to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38thth minute of the game Teofilo Cefero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CA ARDILOS's Teofilo Anaya was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After the first half Milagro Sobre Césped were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tobias Omero was the one to do the kick off. Teofilo Anaya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofilo Cefero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Milagro Sobre Césped's Leon Txatxu got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Teofilo Cefero came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Milagro Sobre Césped fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teofilo Cefero couldn't finish the play. Tobias Omero's late challenge caught a Milagro Sobre Césped's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlos Van Lint made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobias Omero in the 76th minute of play. Teofilo Anaya stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teofilo Cefero's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. 85 minutes into the match, Milagro Sobre Césped's goal looked a bit too open when Tobias Omero came free, but Carlos Van Lint reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. CA ARDILOS's Teofilo Anaya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofilo Cefero in the 86th minute of play.
