After 16 minutes, Orlando Gaitan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BOCA EL MULTICAMPEON and the Banfield players grew even worse after the yellow card. Isidro Prejun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joel Gunnarsson in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hernan Amato saved BOCA EL MULTICAMPEON from getting behind. In the 82nd minute, Joel Gunnarsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Banfield fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Ubaldo Isauro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hernan Amato having to make a save. 88 minutes into the game, Ubaldo Isauro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Hernan Amato was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 94 minutes of play, Banfield's Adrian Semeno made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hernan Amato was left in no man's land by his defense there! Banfield walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
