An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Lehior in the 3rd minute of play forced Voluntad AFC's goalkeeper Agustin Raymundo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Saul Luar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Agustin Raymundo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ulises Donostia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esteve Tebaldo in the 8th minute of the match. In the 10th minute of the match Igor Manny shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Agustin Raymundo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a little luck, Calabria Norte's Ulises Donostia got control of the ball when Isaias Sal tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fulgencio Lope in the 17th minute of play forced Voluntad AFC's goalkeeper Agustin Raymundo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Valentin Montay fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Voluntad AFC's protests and gave Valentin Montay a yellow card for diving instead. In the 19th match minute, Voluntad AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentin Montay to maneuver through the defense. Ulises Donostia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaspar Ayala, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Calabria Norte fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when Calabria Norte's Epifanio Tuste looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Saul Luar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Calabria Norte's supporters rose to their feet, but Saul Luar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Agustin Raymundo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Lehior in the 33rd minute of play forced Voluntad AFC's goalkeeper Agustin Raymundo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner led to Calabria Norte's Eustaquio Otsoa getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Calabria Norte's Ulises Donostia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaspar Ayala in the 42nd minute of play. After 44 minutes, Russel Carbery mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Voluntad AFC and the Calabria Norte players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 44 played minutes Voluntad AFC got a freekick which was hit by Russel Carbery. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Epifanio Tuste to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Epifanio Tuste in the 54th minute of play forced Voluntad AFC's goalkeeper Agustin Raymundo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Agustin Raymundo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Epifanio Tuste, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Epifanio Tuste in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Agustin Raymundo saved Voluntad AFC from getting behind. In the 60th minute, Voluntad AFC's Adan Walme seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Adan Walme the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Voluntad AFC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Adan Walme had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 61st minute, Adan Walme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ciro Theobald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 69 played minutes Voluntad AFC got a freekick which was hit by Gaudencio Tabby. The crowd rose to their feet as Epifanio Tuste kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Agustin Raymundo. That made the score 0-2 in the 70 minute of play. 77 minutes into the game, one of Calabria Norte:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ciro Theobald did an outstanding performance 80 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 1-2 to the right of an irritated Ulises Donostia in the goal. Ulises Donostia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaias Sal in the 92nd minute of the match. Ulises Donostia came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Voluntad AFC's Ciro Theobald. But to his dismay, Ciro Theobald quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. The supporters of Voluntad AFC booed when Calabria Norte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 99 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fulgencio Lope didn't get a good kick on the ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
