Spectators: 7349 (Terracing: 5624, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Isaias Sal kicked off to start the match. After a defensive mix-up in Banfield's zone, Gaspar Ayala stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andreas Soltveit came out of the goal and Gaspar Ayala tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joel Gunnarsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 9 minutes into the match, Voluntad AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ubaldo Isauro came free, but Agustin Raymundo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Voluntad AFC's Ciro Theobald suffered a sore thigh after 10 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 18 minutes into the match, Banfield's goalkeeper Andreas Soltveit had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isaias Sal. 19 minutes into the game, Voluntad AFC's Gaudencio Eutor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Andreas Soltveit made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Gaudencio Eutor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Andreas Soltveit made a huge save. Andreas Soltveit made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaias Sal in the 27th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Isaias Sal took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Andreas Soltveit to make any attempt to save it. Andreas Soltveit made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gaudencio Eutor in the 41st minute. Andreas Soltveit made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaspar Ayala in the 44th minute of play. Ubaldo Isauro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 47th minute, Valentin Montay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Agustin Raymundo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrian Semeno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adrian Semeno stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Voluntad AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adan Walme to maneuver through the defense. In the 56th minute, Joel Gunnarsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gaspar Ayala made a great header on Voluntad AFC's corner, it was just that Banfield's Andreas Soltveit managed to reach the ball for a save. Isidro Prejun hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. 64 minutes into the match, Banfield's goal looked a bit too open when Gaspar Ayala came free, but Andreas Soltveit reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Gaudencio Eutor came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Voluntad AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaudencio Eutor couldn't finish the play. 66 minutes into the match, Banfield's goal looked a bit too open when Isaias Sal came free, but Andreas Soltveit reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 67 played minutes Banfield got a freekick which was hit by Isidro Prejun. In the 71st minute, Luis Silviano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ubaldo Isauro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Agustin Raymundo made a huge save. Agustin Raymundo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joel Gunnarsson in the 79th minute. Esteve Tebaldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andreas Soltveit having to interfere. Joel Gunnarsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Banfield's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
