Bin Kaká fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulises Donostia having to interfere. Ulises Donostia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julio Urko, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. A collision led to Pirguita AFC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Julio Urko hit a great ball. Ermegildo Chaime hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 8th minute, Pirguita AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Epifanio Tuste fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Bin Kaká struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Ulises Donostia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pirguita AFC. Ulises Donostia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julio Urko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ulises Donostia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julio Urko in the 14th minute of the match. Ulises Donostia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julio Urko's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. The audience was convinced that Julio Urko's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ulises Donostia was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. In the 24th minute Cristian Lehior shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teobaldo Urre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27thth minute of the game Julio Urko who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Calabria Norte's Ulises Donostia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Calabria Norte's goal looked a bit too open when Julio Urko came free, but Ulises Donostia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 45 minutes into the game, Julio Urko cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Ulises Donostia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julio Urko was the one to do the kick off. Calabria Norte's Ulises Donostia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julio Urko in the 50th minute of play. In the 51st minute, Benigno Beliran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 52nd minute Saul Luar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teobaldo Urre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 53 minutes, Ulises Donostia successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 63rd minute, Pirguita AFC's Bin Kaká dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. Julio Urkos short, quick shot in the 66thth minute got Ulises Donostia to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ulises Donostia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bin Kaká in the 67th minute of play. Bin Kaká recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ulises Donostia was out of position in the 74 minute of play, and Julio Urko capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Julio Urko really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. After some careless play in the Calabria Norte defense, Bin Kaká kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ulises Donostia. The Calabria Norte fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ulises Donostia should have stopped the shot. With his leg Ulises Donostia managed to avoid a goal in the 81stth minute, when Pirguita AFC's Julio Urko fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 84 minutes into the game, Mitrofan Mitrović recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ulises Donostia. Mitrofan Mitrović showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. 89 minutes into the match, Calabria Norte's goalkeeper Ulises Donostia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julio Urko. In the 90th minute, Victorino Ezkerra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 91 minutes, Julio Urko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pirguita AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julio Urko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pirguita AFC played a much better game than Calabria Norte and deserved their victory. The Calabria Norte players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
