Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Venancio Gonzalez made the kick off which started today's match. After 4 minutes of play, Metán's Venancio Gonzalez made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hipolito Ponciano was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice moves Venancio Gonzalez could shoot a difficult shot in the 17th minute, which Hipolito Ponciano however easily saved by the left post. With a little luck, Piñero AFC's Hipolito Ponciano got control of the ball when Venancio Gonzalez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Piñero AFC's Mario Gutxi got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Metán defense, Mario Gutxi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isaias Bastia. The Metán fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isaias Bastia should have stopped the shot. When Mario Gutxi came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Piñero AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mario Gutxi couldn't finish the play. Prudencio Galoer hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 35th minute Benedicto Esiquio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hipolito Ponciano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 36 minutes, Filomeno Arlo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Piñero AFC and the Metán players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 38th match minute, Metán was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filiberto Gartzi to maneuver through the defense. In the 43rd minute, Metán's Venancio Gonzalez dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Hipolito Ponciano came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Metán's Abelardo Olivar. But to his dismay, Abelardo Olivar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. 58 minutes into the match, Benedicto Esiquio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hipolito Ponciano. Piñero AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benedicto Esiquio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Prudencio Galoer kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 70th minute, Venancio Gonzalez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hipolito Ponciano was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. Hipolito Ponciano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedicto Esiquio, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Prudencio Galoer hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filiberto Gartzi in the 90th minute of play forced Piñero AFC's goalkeeper Hipolito Ponciano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94th minute Venancio Gonzalez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hipolito Ponciano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Metán players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
