The Voluntad fans' excitement grew in the 35th match minute when Voluntad's Maximiliano Bernad looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 39 minutes into the match, Maximiliano Bernad had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hipolito Ponciano. Piñero AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maximiliano Bernad was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Patricio Iratze during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
