Spectators: 7487 (Terracing: 5616, Seating: 1722, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Claudio Lander kicked off to start the match. Piñero AFC's Hipolito Ponciano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Lander in the 2nd minute of play. In the 3rd match minute, Piñero AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paolo Barbosa to maneuver through the defense. In the 4th minute of the match Alonzo Perfecto sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hipolito Ponciano skillfully saved the ball. Patricio Iratze could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Evaristo Elizardo made a huge save. In the 12th minute, Nemesio Marino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hipolito Ponciano was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Hipolito Ponciano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Lander in the 15th minute of play. Hipolito Ponciano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nemesio Marino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute of the match Adolfo Rey shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hipolito Ponciano showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Piñero AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristobal Checa came free, but Hipolito Ponciano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Cristobal Checa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hipolito Ponciano. Piñero AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristobal Checa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Claudio Lander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hipolito Ponciano having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Cristobal Checa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hipolito Ponciano was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Hipolito Ponciano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristobal Checa, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Claudio Lander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hipolito Ponciano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristobal Checa in the 37th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Raimundo Chico during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Claudio Lander took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hipolito Ponciano. Hipolito Ponciano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Claudio Lander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Hipolito Ponciano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raimundo Chico was shown his second yellow card after 45 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 46th match minute, Piñero AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raimundo Chico to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Piñero AFC defense, Cristobal Checa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hipolito Ponciano. The Piñero AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hipolito Ponciano should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Patricio Iratze to make the kick off. Hipolito Ponciano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristobal Checa in the 54th minute. In the 56th minute, Maximo Seme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hipolito Ponciano made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Generoso Fe sent off a good shot on target. Hipolito Ponciano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Generoso Fe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Piñero AFC's Hipolito Ponciano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Lander in the 66th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Claudio Lander fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Adolfo Rey kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 73rd minute, Juárez AFC's Claudio Lander dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-8. A collision led to Piñero AFC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Paolo Barbosa hit a great ball. Hipolito Ponciano was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Claudio Lander showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-9 in the 81 minute of play. Hipolito Ponciano acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 84th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Adolfo Rey. 85 minutes into the match, Cristobal Checa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hipolito Ponciano. Piñero AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristobal Checa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-10. With a little luck, Piñero AFC's Hipolito Ponciano got control of the ball when Cristobal Checa tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Piñero AFC's zone, Cristobal Checa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hipolito Ponciano came out of the goal and Cristobal Checa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Piñero AFC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Maximo Seme hit a great ball. 97 minutes into the game, Cristobal Checa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-12. Hipolito Ponciano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Juárez AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
