The corner led Mabu en Jarrita's Enzo Fidencio to fire away a dangerous shot which Primitivo Nerio despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Mabu en Jarrita's Mauro Laurin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Primitivo Nerio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Leon Bilbo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximiliano Bernad in the 16th minute of the match. Leon Bilbo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Bernad, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Celestino Jaen charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Celestino Jaen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 22 played minutes Mabu en Jarrita got a freekick which was hit by Celestino Jaen. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lucio Jon was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute, Silvestre Librado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lucio Jon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Primitivo Nerio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st minute of the match, Vladimiro Ticho got a very nice opportunity to score, but Leon Bilbo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Aurelio Goyo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Leon Bilbo made a huge save. In the 69th minute, Bruno Rey made a precise shot to the right of Primitivo Nerio. Voluntad's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. With 75 minutes on the clock, Reynaldo Mosen commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Leon Bilbo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Leon Bilbo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Bernad in the 95th minute of play. Voluntad's Aurelio Goyo got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting.
