Leon Bilbo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldo Riells, who was totally free with the ball in the 2nd minute. Leon Bilbo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldo Riells in the 3rd minute of play. Santos Louis kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. In the 6th minute, Conrado Xabel fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 11 minutes into the match, Eliseo Selmo sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Leon Bilbo threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Eliseo Selmo this time. Mabu en Jarrita's Leon Bilbo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldo Riells in the 12th minute of play. When Florencio Izel fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mabu en Jarrita's protests and gave Florencio Izel a yellow card for diving instead. When Ronaldo Riells came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Corsarios del Sur fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ronaldo Riells couldn't finish the play. Ronaldo Riells did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Leon Bilbo 20 minutes into the match. Lucio Jon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Mabu en Jarrita's Leon Bilbo got control of the ball when Teo Luzaide tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rodrigo Cidro struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Leon Bilbo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Corsarios del Sur. The crowd rose to their feet as Ronaldo Riells kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Leon Bilbo. That made the score 2-0 in the 41 minute of play. If Rodrigo Cidro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
53 minutes into the match, Mabu en Jarrita's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldo Riells came free, but Leon Bilbo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Evaristo Ireno during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 64th minute, one of Mabu en Jarrita:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Mabu en Jarrita. In the 66th minute there was a penalty for Corsarios del Sur. Conrado Xabel stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Leon Bilbo. 4-0. 75 minutes into the match, Mabu en Jarrita's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldo Riells came free, but Leon Bilbo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucio Jon came free with the goalkeeper in the 86th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Walmir Loureiro could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldo Riells in the 89th minute of play forced Mabu en Jarrita's goalkeeper Leon Bilbo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leon Bilbo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldo Riells in the 91st minute of play. Leon Bilbo came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Corsarios del Sur's Rodrigo Cidro. But to his dismay, Rodrigo Cidro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Conrado Xabel scored 7-0 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leon Bilbo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Corsarios del Sur had played much better football throughout.
