Spectators: 7536 (Terracing: 5653, Seating: 1733, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Wilfredo Quinto started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Martin Asier made a precise shot to the right of Eusebio Aguirre. Winners's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Eusebio Aguirre stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wilfredo Quinto's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. In the 11th minute, Nicanor Florinio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Leones FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Asier in the 14th minute of play forced Winners's goalkeeper Eusebio Aguirre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute of the match Leones FC got a corner. Winners's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dante Mannie ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Dante Mannie almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Winners's Eusebio Aguirre did a great save. In the 16th minute, Alejo Louis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Leones FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Alejo Louis hit a great ball. Julian Illan might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leopoldo Lastur. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Julian Illan ran back to his position shaking his head. 21 minutes into the match, Leones FC's goalkeeper Leopoldo Lastur had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julian Illan. After a rather tough play, Leones FC's Wilfredo Quinto got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 27th minute, Martin Asier ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eusebio Aguirre was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. 30 minutes into the game, Leones FC's Martin Asier nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eusebio Aguirre made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Martin Asier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Eusebio Aguirre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38thth minute of the game Wilfredo Quinto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Winners's Eusebio Aguirre was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Leones FC fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when Leones FC's Wilfredo Quinto looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Nicanor Florinio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Eusebio Aguirre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th match minute, Leones FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mariano Peyo to maneuver through the defense.

Leopoldo Lastur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lázaro Rolado in the 54th minute of play. Winners's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cirilo Abeitia in the 55th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Leones FC's goalie and right to Lázaro Rolado. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Leones FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Wilfredo Quintos short, quick shot in the 59thth minute got Eusebio Aguirre to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Eusebio Aguirre didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wilfredo Quinto went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. Wilfredo Quinto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 82 played minutes Winners got a freekick which was hit by Teofilo Rocio. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wilfredo Quinto got free with Eusebio Aguirre in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 94 minutes into the match, Dario Gaizko sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Eusebio Aguirre threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Dario Gaizko this time.
