Cesar Florin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edelmiro Mateo in the 12th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Florentino Celipe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cesar Florin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Elvio Maidana hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Edelmiro Mateo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edelmiro Mateo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 31 played minutes lןןl Banfield Drillers got a freekick which was hit by Elvio Maidana. After some careless play in the lןןl Banfield Drillers defense, Nemesio Handi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cesar Florin. The lןןl Banfield Drillers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cesar Florin should have stopped the shot. Cesar Florin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edelmiro Mateo, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benedicto Heli was the one to do the kick off. When Edelmiro Mateo came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Karasuno fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edelmiro Mateo couldn't finish the play. Edelmiro Mateo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Cesar Florin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 65 minutes into the game, Lucio Maule cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Cesar Florin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Edelmiro Mateo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesar Florin having to interfere. Karasuno's Nemesio Handi got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Florentino Celipe kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cesar Florin. That made the score 0-6 in the 78 minute of play. In the 81st minute, Benedicto Marz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 84 played minutes Karasuno got a freekick which was hit by Vecdi Tamkut. Virgilio Tartalo scored 1-6 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Klaus-Dieter Scheuch, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 91st minute, Florentino Celipe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Karasuno fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-7.
