Spectators: 7491 (Terracing: 5619, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Fernan Geleberto kicked off to start the match. Dante Markel kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fernan Geleberto got free with Herminio Salvator in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice moves Fernan Geleberto could shoot a difficult shot in the 6th minute, which Herminio Salvator however easily saved by the left post. After a rather tough play, New Cavanagh FC's Dante Markel got a free kick in the 8th minute. 10 minutes into the game, Boogie Blues's Fernan Geleberto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Herminio Salvator made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. If Inocencio Norino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A hard shot 15 in the game by Fernan Geleberto from a close distance when the talented Herminio Salvator managed to make a qualified save. New Cavanagh FC's players were relieved. Krzysztof Fikus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fernan Geleberto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 22 minutes, Herminio Salvator successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a defensive mix-up in New Cavanagh FC's zone, Fernan Geleberto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Herminio Salvator came out of the goal and Fernan Geleberto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ivan Florin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Krzysztof Fikus's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. In the 35th minute, Krzysztof Fikus made a precise shot to the right of Ivan Florin. Boogie Blues's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After a rather tough play, Boogie Blues's Oliver Stone got a free kick in the 38th minute. New Cavanagh FC's Herminio Salvator played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oliver Stone in the 40th minute of play. With a little luck, New Cavanagh FC's Herminio Salvator got control of the ball when Inocencio Norino tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 47th minute, Jefferson Thorne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 49 played minutes, Boogie Blues's Damaso Rodas shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Herminio Salvator came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Boogie Blues reached it. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Luís Pimentel made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Edgardo Sagrario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Boogie Blues defense, Luís Pimentel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ivan Florin. The Boogie Blues fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ivan Florin should have stopped the shot. 68 minutes into the match, Luís Pimentel notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Boogie Blues's Ivan Florin. Ivan Florin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Fernan Geleberto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Luís Pimentel hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute there was a penalty for New Cavanagh FC. Jeronimo Monico stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ivan Florin. 1-4. A collision led to New Cavanagh FC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Marco Van Craesbeeck hit a great ball. 88 minutes into the game, New Cavanagh FC's Luís Pimentel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ivan Florin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. Fernan Geleberto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herminio Salvator having to interfere. Herminio Salvator made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inocencio Norino in the 96th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 99th minute, Fernan Geleberto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boogie Blues's supporters rose to their feet, but Fernan Geleberto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Herminio Salvator breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Boogie Blues manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing New Cavanagh FC to win.
