In the 24th minute, Özgür Akbulut got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Scylla A.F.C's Esteve Gomez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Scylla A.F.C from getting a goal against them. Saldungaray FC's attentive Filomeno Mino managed to snatch the ball when Arnulfo Millrick made a throw-in in the 28th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Özgür Akbulut took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Esteve Gomez to make any attempt to save it. Neto Volpi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aureliano Gorbea in the 32nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfonso Acuña got free with Esteve Gomez in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 34th minute, Arnulfo Millrick hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Karl-Heinz Rummenigge scored 4-0 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Esteve Gomez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 38th minute, Aureliano Gorbea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 45th match minute, Scylla A.F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteban Gomis to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Karl-Heinz Rummenigge made the kick off in the second half. Karl-Heinz Rummenigge blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Esteve Gomez having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bo Ludas in the 52nd minute of play forced Scylla A.F.C's goalkeeper Esteve Gomez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santiago Montez kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Esteve Gomez came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Saldungaray FC's Karl-Heinz Rummenigge. But to his dismay, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. After 59 minutes of play, Saldungaray FC's Karl-Heinz Rummenigge made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Esteve Gomez was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Saldungaray FC's Marco Naldo in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Scylla A.F.C's goalie prevented a goal. Esteve Gomez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Heinz Rummenigge in the 65th minute of play. Karl-Heinz Rummenigge blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Esteve Gomez having to make a save. 72 minutes into the match, Scylla A.F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Heinz Rummenigge came free, but Esteve Gomez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Naldo in the 74th minute of play forced Scylla A.F.C's goalkeeper Esteve Gomez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Esteve Gomez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Arnulfo Millrick fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Scylla A.F.C's protests and gave Arnulfo Millrick a yellow card for diving instead. In the 76th minute, Arnulfo Millrick hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Özgür Akbulut put it in 9-0 from a short distance just to the right of Esteve Gomez. Esteve Gomez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bo Ludas went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 10-0 was the resulting score.
