In the 3rd minute, Roman Witek ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Beto Bologna was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Beto Bologna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ladislao Eleder in the 6th minute of play. In the 7th minute Ladislao Eleder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beto Bologna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 13 minutes of play, Club Atlético River Plate's Roman Witek made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Beto Bologna was left in no man's land by his defense there! Beto Bologna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ladislao Eleder in the 22nd minute of play. A collision led to Independiente getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Horacio Firme hit a great ball. Beto Bologna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cenap Sabahaddin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute of the match Cenap Sabahaddin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Beto Bologna showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 38 minutes into the game, Bálint Seres cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Beto Bologna was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Independiente's Beto Bologna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ladislao Eleder in the 45th minute of play. In the 47th minute, Independiente's Conrado Txilar dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3.

The wind increased when Conrado Txilar made the kick off in the second half. Fabian Txindoki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conrado Txilar in the 55th minute of play. Beto Bologna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ladislao Eleder in the 60th minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Club Atlético River Plate's goal looked a bit too open when Conrado Txilar came free, but Fabian Txindoki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute, Tayyar Kuman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 何悦康 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Txindoki having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Zeledon Hulberto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Independiente's supporters rose to their feet, but Zeledon Hulberto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabian Txindoki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Beto Bologna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ladislao Eleder, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. After 77 played minutes Club Atlético River Plate got a freekick which was hit by Ladislao Eleder. Beto Bologna made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Isidro Bladi sent off a good shot on target. Nemesio Iraunkor kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Club Atlético River Plate's Beto Bologna threw himself towards the right post 82 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Roman Witek, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ladislao Eleder received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Beto Bologna came out and tried to block the shot, but Ladislao Eleder slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 85th minute. Beto Bologna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roman Witek in the 88th minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Club Atlético River Plate's goal looked a bit too open when Zeledon Hulberto came free, but Fabian Txindoki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Independiente supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Club Atlético River Plate's performance. The match ended with a win for Club Atlético River Plate.
