The referee ignored Mono Naranja's protests and gave Benito Joey a yellow card for diving instead. Gabriel Vallander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Apolo Batista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Matadores's Carmelo Sayveon got a free kick in the 12th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Matadores's goal looked a bit too open when German Ishmael came free, but Harry Ödman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 15 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Mono Naranja! Fulgencio Chepe shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Anselmo Prejun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Apolo Batista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 19 minutes into the match, Mono Naranja's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Vallander came free, but Apolo Batista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sebastian Telesforo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Apolo Batista having to interfere. If Anselmo Prejun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 30th minute of the match Matadores got a corner. Mono Naranja's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fulgencio Chepe ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Fulgencio Chepe got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Apolo Batista quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Abelardo Galtero hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Mono Naranja's zone, Sebastian Telesforo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Apolo Batista came out of the goal and Sebastian Telesforo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Emilio Ofelio fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mono Naranja's protests and gave Emilio Ofelio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 45th minute, Emilio Ofelio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Anselmo Prejun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gabriel Vallander to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mono Naranja's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fulgencio Chepe was slow to take the kick. During this time Matadores's players had a chance to rest. Matadores's Fulgencio Chepe was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Apolo Batista in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The supporters of Mono Naranja booed when Matadores was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arsen Sopkiv didn't get a good kick on the ball. Harry Ödman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulino Perrando, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. 62 minutes into the match, Matadores's Sebastian Telesforo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Apolo Batista narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Sebastian Telesforo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulino Perrando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 85 minutes into the match, Mono Naranja's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Vallander came free, but Apolo Batista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute, Gabriel Vallander left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Matadores fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Sebastian Telesforo came free with the goalkeeper in the 90th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Apolo Batista could save by the left post. In the 91st match minute, Mono Naranja was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abelardo Galtero to maneuver through the defense. When Emilio Ofelio was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 95 minutes had been played. The supporters of Matadores booed when Mono Naranja was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emilio Ofelio didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle sounded Matadores left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Mono Naranja.
